* Don't be scammed the Cleancut shaver is actually made by Izumi Products and sold through ID Corp - not Seiko. Seiko make watches & have never made any shavers at any time. They did lend their name for a royalty, to Izumi but stopped that arrangement more than 3 years ago. We wonder why,  if this shaver was so good? In fact Cleancut has recently  withdrawn their ES 1080 rechargeable shaver because of burned out motors. So much for the "quality" of so called Japanese motors.

+ The Body Bare is no real competitor as it is smaller than the Hair eRazor, less powerful and so takes longer to shave. The more costly pubic shavers made by Bodworx and the self styled Ultimate Personal shaver, use an old style "C" cell battery or AA batteries which is in no way comparable to a rechargeable shaver - very expensive on batteries too. They are also smaller than the Hair eRazor and are thus more time consuming and do not have durable titanium blades - just cheap steel. Neither can claim to have any "green" eco-friendly attributes as the Hair eRazor most certainly does. If you attempt to use rechargeable batteries in these shavers, this will make the shaver blades revolve slower and will cause pinching and pulling.

++ The bulky Philips Norelco Bodygroom is NOT a rotary shaver and has wide reciprocating steel blades that move from side to side, which is why it is cheaper. This has led to some Bodygroom customers reporting shaver burn and skin irritation as well as being totally unwieldy in the "nooks and crannies" that require a more compact tool for the detailed work. This is probably not what you want in an intimate shaver. Titanium blades and green eco friendly manufacture are not part of the deal and no 2 year warranty either! Also because of the so called "wet dry" feature which actually prevents a smooth shave when the skin is wet, prevents the battery from being replaced when it dies.  The "water proofing" is created by a vaccum seal and when you open the shaver to do any replacment the vacuum is broken and the shaver will no longer be waterproof.
